About Us

Our History

In late 2022, driven by a deep passion for unity and a commitment to building a strong, connected community, a determined group planted the seeds for what would become a powerful and impactful endeavor. This vision quickly took shape, and by June 2023, the community rallied together in an inspiring show of solidarity. In just a few short months, the collective efforts of hundreds of dedicated families in Addison and the surrounding neighborhoods bore fruit with the grand opening of our Masjid and Community Center on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Since its inception, our Center has become a beacon for the local Muslim community, providing a space where thousands have found spiritual fulfillment, social support, and a sense of belonging. Whether through prayer, charitable initiatives, educational programs, or a variety of community-driven activities, our doors have remained open to all, fostering a spirit of togetherness and shared purpose.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a haven for our community—a place where the spiritual, social, educational, and personal needs of Muslims in Addison and beyond are met with compassion and care. We are dedicated to catering to the spiritual needs of every individual, offering a sanctuary for worship, reflection, and growth in faith.

Recognizing the importance of nurturing the next generation, we place a strong emphasis on the education and upbringing of our youth. Through a variety of programs, we aim to inspire and guide them, equipping them with the knowledge, values, and skills they need to thrive both spiritually and personally. Our goal is to foster an environment where our youth can grow into confident, faithful, and responsible members of the community.

In addition to our spiritual and educational focus, we are deeply committed to serving the broader community through initiatives like the Chicago Muslim Medical Alliance (CMMA). Through this collaboration, we provide essential healthcare services and support to those in need, embodying the principles of compassion and service that are central to our faith.

Our Vision

We envision a thriving community that stands together in faith and purpose, where every individual feels valued and supported. Our goal is to continue building a legacy of service and connection, ensuring that our Community Center remains a source of inspiration, guidance, and strength for generations to come. We aspire to be a cornerstone in the lives of our youth, supporting their journey in faith and life, and helping to shape a future grounded in the principles of our deen. We strive to broaden our influence, bringing positive change to the wellbeing of our community and beyond.
